John David Johnson and his wife during a visit to the Revheim Bay Recreaction Area the original homestead in Mobridge SD 
Headstones are Mons on the left, Anton (Tony) center and Anna on the right 
Anton never married he continued to farm with his mother until the farm was flooded by the construction of a dam. He was able to get the high ground made into a park. 
Simon died as an infant in 1910.
- Mobridge SD after the Missouri River was dammed and the much of the Revheim homestead was flooded by the Oahe Reservoir.
- Revheim Bay Recreation Area was created on the portion of the homestead that was not flooded. The sign said that the homestead was created in 1881 and that is not correct. My grandparents left Norway in 1881 and Ingebret and Mons left Norway in 1882 so the earliest year for the Homestead was 1883.
