Link to Charles S. Neff Ship Drawings

My Great Uncle Charles Neff was familiar with Great Lakes shipping via sail, steam, and diesel-powered ships. He knew that the sail and steam-powered ships would eventually go out of service, so he collected photos and made drawings of the ships, many from memory. His daughter and her husband had slides made of the ship drawings. His daughter Marcy also prepared cards that provided information about the ships. I inherited the slides and cards, and Duane Clemmer, my cousin’s husband, made digital copies of them. Sometime later, I donated a digital copy to the Maritime History of The Great Lakes in Kingston, Ontario. The link is to that collection.
